Budapest and Tokaj
We loved Budapest! The history and culture surrounded. The parliament building with its Neo Gothic architecture is mesmerizing. There are famous baths, the Hungarian food is amazing, and there is also the chain bridge that connects Buda to Pest! It is full of charm and mystic. Tokaj, yes you must!! Ok so I don’t like sweet wines but the beautiful wine makers and owners in Tokaj introduced to me to some complex and beautiful wines that paired so well with their bold flavored food! They hooked me! We sat around their kitchen tables and were given an amazing lesson in history while tasting their delicious works of art. This region was all but devastated by communism but they have rebuilt and are a true lesson in strength and courage!
